Last night when we got home from Denver around 9:30pm my daughter Lexa said she saw something with a bushy tail and pointed ears. We told her that she might have seen a bobcat. Instead, it turned out to be a fox! This fox seems to be used to people. It got within 20 feet of us. Any time it would run away we whistled, and it would come back. Obviously the fox has been interacting with humans for a while. It was hungry and we tossed the fox a couple of franks from the refrigerator. Instead of eating them the fox held them in its mouth and carried them away. This made us think that maybe the fox had some young she was trying to feed. Check out the pictures.
